mossrider
Yes! Dumpster diving in a buddies garage, who shall remain nameless and scored a wrecked lower fairing. Some glass work and a coat of primer and viola', spare belly pan. Now to find someone with an upper... mossrider
Oh yeah, scored a spare set of stock forks and a rashed upper fairing! A set of GVE's and springs in the forks and some bodywork and paint on the upper and my spares kit is complete. 2nd call to grid...

Yepperz, I'd hate to go all the way to Pittsburgh and have to load up and leave after bending a fork tube in a crash in practice or get black flagged due to wrecked bodywork from a crash in qualifying. Cheap insurance. I have a spare motor & exhaust, shock, swingarm, extra clipons, rearsets, all controls, radiator, calipers, fluids, enough tools to float the Titanic, axles, nuts & bolts, fiberglass and resin, egad... I'd build another bike but the rules forbid backup bikes. Edited April 25, 2019 by mossrider

mossrider
Just back from my crack dealers candy shop. I'm in the shop today fixing the rashed upper and checking over the rest of my rummage sale goodies. Love a good road trip. Came with the screen too, score. Forks already have cartidges in them, not sure of spring rate yet. Taking them apart later. Carbon can for my old spare exhaust. They all rash through on the end cap from tight right handers. Doesn't effect function. The crushed can, we'll that's a different story, lol. Get busy folks.

mossrider
Transformation nearing completion... A couple hours of glass work over a couple days, didn't bother with filler since it's a spare. Still look pretty good when done. Sent the forks in to be refreshed and properly sprung for me too. And don't forget Mother's Day coming up you dummies.
