All this talk about the suspension got me to thinking about how an old friend test rode a bike I'd bought and being the kind of guy that always plays the devil's advocate I expected the worst review from him. He told me after his ride that the suspension wasn't great, that it needed to me modded. What he didn't realize though was that his grin had given him away. I asked him then if he liked the bike, if it was fun to ride and he said yes, it was a blast to ride and that I'd got a good deal. As I recall, all my bikes after being worn some still delivered the fun so I'm not so quick to discredit a new bikes just because another bike's suspension is a little better.
