Anyone know what size seal driver the bike needs? other than that, the rest of the cartridge install is cake... just running into a continuation of this bike being a different size from bikes ive worked on in the past. If you still have your inner tube fork covers (the plastic piece that's in between the triple clamps), flip it upside down and use it to drive the seals. It's the same diameter and it's free!

From what I was reading the 1/2" drive version is the correct size for Yamahas. But I can't confirm that personally. DewMan Just shut up and ride. twf
Yes you need 1/2 drive. It says 15-25mm which works. 3/8 is to small.
firstyammerha
after removing a number of bolts from the frame of this bike, all I can say is whoever provides the threadlocking compound to Yamaha probably drives a Ferrari and will retire to a pacific island early. HulkHogan
Here’s some pics of my tool...I’m considering going into manufacturing lol. This along with an impact driver needs to be used. Cornerslider was able to do this without an impact but I have no idea how...I almost ripped my hair out and then used an impact and it came right out.
