Finally got some time to put in a bunch of stuff I ordered. Here's what I did today:

1) R3 rear pegs to match the front
2) Put in my Night Racer 110 headlight, can't wait to ride at night to see how it is
3) TST clear front mount flush signals
4) SuperBrightLEDs blinker relay for TST signals
5) Removed the front reflectors on the fork
6) Removed my rear blinkers to make room for MotoDynamic sequential LED tail light I have coming soon

All in all, everything took about a couple hours.

Installed me a Bike Master drag bar and some new Pro Taper 1/3 waffle grips (motocross grips), changed my oil
and oil filter, and rode it a fair bit.
The drag bar feels very sporty in the turns.

So this is my bike now. I did several relatively cheap mods. There is a lot I would still like to do but it would be expensive and I will probably just save for a different bike instead. I am trying to make it a bit sportier and to handle like a sportbike but the MT07 seems to not like that. It's probably mostly the suspension. I think the bike just does not suit me.

Nevertheless I like it a lot. I love how it looks now and lots of other aspects of the bike. It just does not... reflect me if someone understands...
If you are after a "sport bike", the FZ/MT is not that, both the suspension and the riding position are way off.  It can, however, be made "sportier".  A new rear shock, and front springs or cartridges will do wonders for the suspension, and aftermarket rearsets and lower bars will get you closer to the sport position.  That's what I've done, and I'm really happy with the bike.  Is it a sport bike? No, it's a naked bike, but it's a great compromise as a sport bike and every day commuter. That's what I use it for, so those are the changes I made, and it works great for me. :)

Have the Hero Session mounted on the tail currently, and the original Go Pro Hero on my helmet. I use them mostly for keeping idiots in check. If they are paying attention that is, also for just in case something happens...

Don't post any videos to you tube or anything... I normally delete them as they are very uninteresting... ;)

There are many options, but it depends on what you like to see.  Some people like to see some of their helmet in the mix, so a side mount on the helmet.  Some don't want that (like me) and make a chin mount or a lower, more forward side mount.  Here's a thread...

Mounted new continental tires myself in the garage. Was simple and much cheaper to do myself then pay cycle gear $40 a tire. I spent less money in tools to do it myself. Went for a 170 mile ride to scuff them in and I'm really happy with them. Broke in very easy as I leaned into them. Also check the throttle body sync since 600 miles. I now have 9370 miles and the sync was perfect.

This moron truck driver wants to play cat and mouse game, I made sure I gave him a few words of my mind and the # 1 sign language ( but I had to cut it from the video for the sake of the forum).

I saw the shadow of your #1 sign language and was so horrified, appalled and offended that I have to take therapy for the rest of my life. You will be receiving a bill in the mail soon.

@beemer- You were Horrified....!!!
I'll give you that therapy, the one you so much talk about it, and I won't charge you a penny for it , free of charge my friend...!!, " it's on the house "

I'm curious how much of an improvement this is over the stock headlight. Post a review when you get a chance, please.

I'm really impressed with fit and finish.  Got it from Ebay in the UK.  It was $72 delivered!

Thanks for the reply. As you can see I did a few changes to make it sportier. For example the handlebar, which can't be any lower as it already hits the tank. I would like the woodcraft clip ons but at the time I was changing mine, they weren't selling them for MT/FZ07 yet. And now they don't seem like a big difference from those that I have.
Rearsets and suspension are the quite expensive mods in which I don't want to invest at the moment even though I know it would make a big difference. I installed adjustable foot pegs to move my feet a bit further back as I have big feet so it is still easy for me to reach the rear brake. Also I lowered the front through the triple trees a bit to be a more leaned over the front wheel. It is not a big difference but I do have more feel in the front tire now.

As I said, for now I will stop doing changes to the bike and save for a new one instead because this one just will not be what I want it to be. It can get pretty close but I would still move to a different bike in the future anyway.

To me it seems like he was just trying to change lanes and immediately turned back to his lane as soon as he saw you. Seems like you were going a bit too fast there

Explained to various people what my fuel bottle actually was. Lol

Who was that guy who fell of his bike on the highway?, was he doing a wheelie?, all it shows just a orange color bike sliding on the highway, kinda somewhat funny !!

The pack slowed down and I don't think he was paying attention. His bike almost slid into me and he was sliding down the freeway a couple lanes over.

No wonder traffic is so bad, y'all look like wasps filtering in and out and bouncing off of traffic. I imagine it's amazing when traffic is stopped but it seems really dangerous when traffic is moving like that and y'all being in a large group like that.

Usually the police escorts rides like this, but not this year. Everyone here in the bay areas, drivers and riders, have a mutual understanding on how things are here. Dangerous? Could be... But could be dangerous riding to the corner store also.

Exactly right, if everyone knows the game you're gonna be better off, but over here in Texas, I think Earl Ray and Billy Bob might not like a motorcycle getting through while they're stuck in traffic.
