Guest ChicagoAJ
Went out to the garage this morning and discovered one of the welds on my tail tidy failed. Left turn signal was dangling in the breeze. If hubs can't get it welded I think I'll get a Yoshi for it. I'll sell you my Yoshi tail tidy blinker brackets to save you some trouble and money. I got an integrated tail light and completely removed all the stock blinkers from my bike so I won't be needing the brackets and they should work/be universal with any tail tidy. Sorry for the bad quality (I took a screenshot from YouTube video for quick reference), but as long as you have a license plate, those will just bolt to the existing holes on your plate. No welds either, so they won't fall off unless your plate does, haha.

duenan
Bought a new Helmet for my light bulb. It's an Osram Night Racer 110. I don't understand! Hoow can you install it with the helmet on. But then, if you remove it from the helmet and install it, it no longer has a helmet! 1 Engaging with people that have personality disorders on a message board is like arguing with a rock. Guest ChicagoAJ
@chicagoaj I did! Best deal on those bulbs!Good, good. I saw a few people on here paid around $21 for one and I thought that was a little steep. I tried to share that link as much as could, hell, without the promo code it's still a decent deal for $33. Yea, I paid about $20 for mine, but then used the place you posted to pick up two extra! I'm very happy with mine so far. Nice upgrade from stock and definitely worth getting in my opinion, but I haven't tried an LED light so I can't compare. 2 Why can't left turners see us? Bucaro_FZ07
I bought them online @Goob the 2016 SIlver FZ-07 has them in that color, I think it was like 23 bucks for each. Mine is an FZ too, like yours. For the side covers I used the original yamaha color-rite spray can and clear coat.

Premium Member norcal616 Posted May 4, 2016 Premium Member Share Posted May 4, 2016 Got a chance to put a 2hr ride on the new suspension... Took the back roads into downtown Grand Rapids...the suspension at speeds below 55-60 it feels very planted regardless of road surface, I tried to get the back wheel to spin or force the bike do a lil bunny on some " rutty" road surfaces..the rear wheel was planted...response is awesome...since the suspension is more planted it feels Like it's harsh but it's not, it's just the fact you feel connected to the behavior of the suspension as you feel more road sensations...on the highway the suspension felt better...smoother than speeds under 55...cross winds didn't wanna make the bike dance in the wind, even passing a semi , the bike didn't wanna pushed... Thank you for the suspension combo offering pattonme 1 2015 fz-07- Hordpower Edition...2015 fj-09- 120whp- Graves Exhaust w/Woolich Race Kit- tuned by 2WDW
Premium Member rowdy Posted May 4, 2016 Premium Member Share Posted May 4, 2016 I replaced my grips with Pro Grip 719s and did the R6 throttle tube swap. It was a little more involved than I wanted it to be, because I wanted to re-position my controls inboard a few mm too, which required drilling my Renthal bars. Well, I started at about 7:15 and finished about 20 minutes ago (8:10). All seems great, and I took the bike out around the neighborhood for a spin. I didn't notice much difference throttle wise yet, but I'll be hitting the freeway tomorrow on my commute. The grips feel nice. Why can't left turners see us? Maybe not an absolute, but a pneumatic stapler will sure make this go easier. There's a Harbor Freight one that fires T50 staples that's cheap and works well. Other than that, best to go on their website and watch one of their videos.
