valhalla
Installed reworked seats. Rider seat (recontoured, more padding, new vinyl). Got rid of the bolts holding the rear of the seat in favor of Velcro attachment (this allowed padding to be thicker). Passenger seat recovered to match rider seat. Like your seats. Where did you have them done? Thx!
Premium Member crazycracka501 Posted October 31, 2014 Premium Member Share Posted October 31, 2014 Wow shes super naked rite now... Looks good with out the reflectors... So what plastics are you getting dipped? The ones that surround the gas tank (all the missing plastics from that first pic?)Yea, I'm getting all colored plastics dipped as well as rear black plastics. I'm not dipping any front plastics that were originally black, they are going to remain that way. 1 Make it stop!....Now make it go faster! Premium Member crazycracka501 Posted November 1, 2014 Premium Member Share Posted November 1, 2014 installed my new Puig windscreen.... hoping it helps with the wind buffeting on the fwys... it definitely cleans up the front facia of the bike though... rabbit07
Went on my first cold weather ride last nite. It was 39 degrees. I had stopped at a QT store and a cop walking out was really eyeballing my bike. I thought "maybe he likes bikes"....or maybe he hates bikes cuz he snuck across the street and hid at another gas station while I was in QT. Then when I cross the intersection he jumps out on my tail. He rode behind me for about 3 miles til I turned into a neighborhood. He never did anything so I'm thinking my homemade tail tidy and tag lights passed the "cop test". ...this time. I did however have my red LED light on underneath as well and he didn't pull me for that. Best part was that I didn't notice the cold at all while he was back there lol

I am running a map for the Akra and DNA filter from DJ's website. I haven't ridden it too much, but I can tell you it is snappier all around, which is nice. After I get some riding in on it, I will see if I can't tweak it or if it's good as is.
Guest August BB
Hey August, who did you get the radiator cover from, looks great! Its a company out of the UK. They have a US distributor ebay shop, but they only get very little of those radiator guards at a time. For the black, usually 3 of those a month. That is the US distributor ebay shop. They still have 4 of the stainless steel version: [url=]http://www.ebay.com/itm/Yamaha-FZ-07-Brushed-Stainless-Radiator-Guard-/251696047640 Apparently those don't sell that quickly. What I did is watch the seller, and check their listing every day. I noticed the day they updated their listing stock, it was around 12am New Jersey time. Alternatively, you can buy from their actual UK ebay store. I believe it costs a bit more total to get it (around 5 bucks more), plus you'll wait longer for it to arrive but I was patient to wait for their US distributor to get them in stock. Global Moderator Guru Posted November 2, 2014 Global Moderator Share Posted November 2, 2014 Season is pretty much over. So the bike has to go in winter storage. My wife agreed to put the FZ in the living room lol. Yes, I love her. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/33459059/IMG_1373.jpghttps://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/33459059/IMG_1374.jpg
Guest August BB
I'm almost there. Took a ride today. My wife wakes me up to tell me it is sunny, so I grab a coffee and go for a ride, it was about 45 degrees. My body was fine, my neck, helmet, and fingers were ice cold. Right after lunch it started raining again. Once I install my exhaust, I'll take one last ride and tuck her in as its just getting colder each passing day. By the way Guru, nice. You should remove that blue towel and get a rug and make the fz07 part of the decor. Maybe put it in a slight angle, add some lighting. etc.

Premium Member hippiebikerchick Posted November 2, 2014 Premium Member Share Posted November 2, 2014 Took a putt in the country with the hubs, testing out our new Sena devices. Awesome! And I love listening to my music while I ride. (First time listening to music on my motorcycle) I plugged my vintage iPod into the Sena and it works. Riding on a deserted road, in gorgeous countryside, on a perfect day, on my sexy bike, listening to my music felt like this: And I wasn't faking.
