@208MT07 Looks great!  Mine came in the mail today as well. I’ll install it tonight and get some daytime pics tomorrow.

Installed the smoked TST integrated tail light on my 2018. I'm quite pleased with the brightness and various settings.

Pics were taken with the sun directly behind the bike with no overcast.

Great news on the TST smoked integrated tail light. My wife and I just came back from a little day ride and she said both the brake light and turn signals were very noticeable.  I was happy to hear this after the TST flush mount pods weren't noticeable during daylight hours.

I installed the spiegler brake lines today. They look fantastic. Performance wise I feel little to no difference with the rear brake. However the front brake feels drastically different. Much better feeling.

also I took the triple tree clamp and handle bar off to finally get to the bottom of my steering damper problem from the dealership. Turns out they never seated the collar of the steering damper all the way down to the backbone of the frame so it was pretty much just floating around the dust cover and steering stem nut. Now the steering damper finally feel normal again so I believe I corrected everything that the dealer messed up. FINALLY!!!

I just received my  Spiegler brake lines today. Did you get the original set up or the alt set up with 2 long front lines? Glad to hear the front feels better.

I had to tighten my rear engine bolts.

The bike had started making a fairly loud click upon takeoff. I double checked everything regarding the chain ( ...again), but all was well. Popped the rear wheel off while the bike was up and checked the wheel bearings - no problems there. Cleaned out the cush drive while the wheel was off and found a HUGE amount of grit inside! Kinda stinks that this cush drive isn't sealed to the hub with an o-ring like all my other bikes. I figured the grit crunching around must have been the sound, but a test ride proved otherwise. So back up on the lift for a look and I find the rear engine bolts are loose. Not like finger-tight, about to fall out loose, but I tightened each of them over 1 full turn. Creaking/clicking sound is gone now. The sound was the engine moving around in the frame....spooky.

Check yer bolts!

Was going to try and repack my M4 exhaust, and after fighting with the rivets. I cracked the tip while trying to separate the cannister. Think I'm going to just put some rivets back in and order parts.

Well, I was at the Y doing my mile swim, had ridden my bicycle there, about a 25 mile round trip. Ran into my wife's boss who has several motorcycles and trades through them regularly. He mentioned he had wished he knew I wanted another motorcycle because he was thinking to sell his 15 Street Triple R. So, basically, what I did to my MT-07 today is buy it a garage buddy:

It has just over 3,000 miles and a few quality mods. Treated gently. Yeah, yeah, the newest Street Triple R has more engine, look at it this way, it has 109 horsepower and 50 pound feet of torque and is fully capable of blistering acceleration the MT-07 could only dream of.  I plan to keep both. I got a good price on it and paid cash so I will enjoy it for a while and then pass it on to a deserving fellow. The MT-07, I think is a keeper, well, both of them may be.

As well, I added a helmet lock and a peg eliminator kit:

I did this the other day, trimmed an extra set of aero fairings to fit around and with my Yamaha luggage rack:

The last gen street triple is a great bike! Just don't ride one of the newer Daytonas 😉

@sorkyah you still around Phoenix? I just moved back for law school and will be at AMP next weekend for the track day.

Congrats on the new addition? Those are great bikes, for sure. I think the design team was "out to lunch" on the headlights, but those frames are beautiful!
