That looks a little weird but yet kinda cool! I'd love to be able to ride into a nice cool body of water for a dip on a hot day or just chase the ducks, ha!

Congrats on the new addition? Those are great bikes, for sure. I think the design team was "out to lunch" on the headlights, but those frames are beautiful!

LOL, yeah, it may be an acquired taste. My wife loves them. I am neutral. They do not hurt my eyes but I might would prefer twin round lights. But, that said, to be clear, I find them attractive enough, especially when I take them in the context of the whole bike.

There are things I do not like on the MT-07, for example, the fake scoops. But, in the whole context, I do not mind them at all and might even agree they look okay.

The MT-07 and the Street Triple 675 are a study in contrasts, I think they will make a nice, complimentary pair. The MT-07 is my main squeeze, I plan to continue to upgrade it and get an exhaust system for it. Whereas the only thing I immediately plan for the STR is a FE kit.

Those headlights need fixing to the forks instead of stuck right out on the headstock. It would make a world of difference and get me interested.

Just do it!

JW Speaker Adaptive 2 headlight and Motodemic brackets.  Have a flyscreen on the way too.

Let's see it with the flyscreen added if you have it on. I've been interested in this set up for a while now for mine. Curious to see how you like it after using it for a bit.

Just curious but what length mounts did you get? Looks like they had 3 different ones available.

Haven't gotten around to fitting the flyscreen yet.  The one I have is made for a 7" round headlight and it's going to take some tinkering to get it to work.

The headlights low beam is nice and wide but only throws about the same distance as my stock housing with Philips Xtreme Vision bulb, maybe a little further.  High beam shoots almost as far as you can see though.  Turning is simply amazing.  Pitch black back roads with the high beam on, I can see everything as if it were daylight and the lean angle lights still work on high beam.  Going around turns is so much more comfortable now.  Hopping on my WR250R at night seems like I have a candle for a headlight now haha.  I ride a lot at night and this headlight was worth every penny.

when you get the FE kit for the str, i recommend getting some of these. https://www.superbrightleds.com/moreinfo/led-wired-bolts/bolt-beam-10mm-led-light/56/2047/
you can replace the bolts for your license plate with them and they will act as turn signals

Thanks for the link! Man, that's some cheap stuff, too! (or so it seems) $13.95 for 3 lbs. of the stuff. I bet there's spare to cover the toilet seat, huh?! I hate sliding off! (TMI???, lol!)

It wound up being like $22 shipped. if you don;t screw up like me you have enough to do 4 seats with 1 yard.

Thank you, I was gonna do the same to mine and add a second layer of kevlar underneath to keep the neighborhood kids from ripping holes in it as they walk by.
I swear, next one that i catch touching it will get an airsoft pellet to the back of the head,  an escort back to their parents.
Did you add more foam along the tip? i dont remember it going that far up the tank.

Problem with our seats is that you can't just slap on new vinyl. There is a portion that needs to be sewed on the back curvature of tha parts you pull up to access the bolts.

Didn't add anything to my seat. Its all the stock foam.
