Would you recommend those even with the high price?

I wanted these from the minute I saw them. So, yes I recommend them because I love the streetfighter look.

They sure look better than that slab of plastic on each side!

Agreed. Its just a lot of money. I feel they don't need to charge that much for things like that..

Thank you for the review, That is my favorite screen so far.  Could you post a link where you bought it?
Revzilla.com
I went on Revzilla right after you posted that pic, they're out of stock….
But this is definitely going on my "Christmas List." Hope it's back in stock by then!

Instagram: @meekmade | You don't need to flat foot a bike to ride it.

Adjusted throttle cable slack and removed front fork reflectors. 10 minutes made a big difference to the feel and look of the bike. Only picked it up on Saturday so it's early days yet. Amazing bike so far.

Washed it, turn my back and it fell, fortunately on soft ground .. got muddy brake lever, throttle, EOS frame slider, pegs, and mirror. So .. washed it again. Got dark by then but think there may be zero damage. How you might ask? I propped the sidestand up on a brick, thought it was fairly level but must have been a bit off to the right. Big mistake was leaving it in neutral .. lesson learned. Tomorrow will be nice enough to commmute, then wednesday possibly snow/mix 1-6 inches ... grrrr.

Got my recall done today ,temperature was in the 50's not too bad I guess.I took the seat off to see what was done and end up placing a cover on intake for winter storage after reading about mice storing food in there  :) .20141125_123313_zpsdgpi5plr.jpg

I was wondering what the green thing was before I read your post. Just don't forget to remove it in the spring :).

Had a nice day so decided to start her up for a bit and get a last outside pic and do some temporary jenga in the garage to fit everything.

Fortunately all that happened was the mirror got a few nicks and the frame slider as well. Soggy gravel driveway ftw.

I can't find a scratch on mine, so really lucked out.  They are deceivingly heavy to lift.  They handle like a feather, but 400 lbs is still 400 lbs.

Changed my oil just now to get ready for winter storage. Surprised how dark it is with only 410 miles on it.
My first two oil changes were really dark after a short amount of time also. I switched to synthetic mobile one and there's about 1000 miles on it so far and the oil is only a shade darker than what it was new.

Well, where do I start. Before or after going for a LONG ride?
OK, before the ride, I installed my Gorilla alarm I am carrying from bike to bike, so if you are looking at the model number, its probably not being made anymore, but it still works great.

Then, after the ride, I made a radiator guard out of a screen I found at Lowes this morning, $25.

Don't worry, the color means absolutely nothing.

I rode it for a 68-mile sporty ride, dodging the sand here and there from a little bit of snow a few days back.
Got lucky with another nice Sunday and 54-degree temperature.
