What did you do to your Yamaha FZ-07 today?

For me, the racing colors for Yamaha isn't blue. It's yellow and black. There's a hint for my age. ::)
I'd love to see a FZ-07 with these colors.

2016 Yellow is in the line up.  That would be my choice too.

I did a rendering of such a color scheme a while back:

I found out that I need better gloves if I plan on riding around when it is 45 outside. If that counts as doing something on my bike.

I had that same revelation a few weeks ago. Warm gloves make a big difference.

Rode a 50 mile loop with a stop in Acme for a piece of pie and a coffee. Barkbusters worked fine keeping the hands from over chilling. Hope the other Bhamsters got out to ride on the first dry day in awhile.

Went on a nice 80 mile ride through lush countryside with a few friends. A few of those miles were sort of muddy where I thought I needed a different type of bike. We made it through and now there's mud flung on the radiator and under tail. A highlight was being passed by a group of 30 squids going twice the limit.

@cassecou, is your daughter interested in having her own motorcycle?

My 5 year old is proclaiming she wants a blue motorcycle. Even when she was around 3, whenever a motorcycle would pass her side of the window in the car she would ooh and ahh at it. Wonder if that will last into adulthood.

I just got home tonight. I am hoping the dry weather will last at least one more day.

Got my chain tightened yet again, noticed a little noisy when cleaning it so took it in and found out it was just a little on the slack side again. Must be all that throttle twisting  P-).  My dealer did it for free, so why not.

Make it stop!....Now make it go faster!

Good luck, its just the beginning. She will want to go on every rides with you, then she will want to ride it on her own, then, have a bike to call her own :o. My daughter wants a dirt bike. I am thinking about it as it is a great learner's tool. Then, the toughest part of it is that you have to deal with YOUR wife, good luck on that one (rofl).

I ordered a radiator guard, LED turn signals and a transitions visor today. I will post pictures in my gallery when they are installed. It will not be until after Christmas though as they were all Christmas presents.

Which radiator guard did you go with?

Busted my ass on the gravel riding down the lane this morning. I guess I had to even it out on both sides. My carbon fiber slip on got pretty scuffed up otherwise no damage. Bike slid for about 4 or 5 feet and I tumbled down the ravine into a gulley.

I hope the day picks up. :(

Everything went braap.

I've been busy with a couple of things, one thing led to the other as in the spacers for the instrument cluster and Renthal bars allowed room for a tank ring mounted "box".

I used an FZ-09 tank ring since it is the same as ours and the adapter from SW Motech via Twisted Throttle. My box a Pelican 1200 and "disappears" when riding. I also installed Hyperpro progressive front springs which has made a huge difference! I almost went the full gut fork replacement from a forum vendor but just could not justify the expense.
I am very pleased with this quite inexpensive "fix".

I went with the Evotech. I had seen it in person on wabill's bike and thought it looked great.

Thanks. All is well, no bodily injury and minor bike injury. Was pretty peeved about it all. Too groggy this morning and grabbed too much front brake. Purely my fault overall.

Everything went braap.
