I appreciate it but you don't have to do that.

I know I don't HAVE to ;)

I got a buddy in Finland that hooks me up with some stuff we don't get in the States. It's the bee's elbows.

I got some strange looks 1 time when I said something was "The Bee's Knees" not that the other people would use the term (Bee's elbows) either. They thought I was strange!!

Nothing fancy on the strop or brush. The brush is Akunsz, which I know nothing about, but it's nicely made. No clue who made the strop, just happy to have a wide one for my razors. My old skinny one is pretty knicked up from trying to strop tiny wood carving knives on it.

You're a better man than me using a Feather! I gave one a whirl but never could get the hang of it. I have a couple Dovo's I got cheap and a couple Wade & Butchers I lucked in to at a local antique shop for 12 bucks! Best I can tell, the one with horn scales dates to the late 1800's. It's rough looking, but I love it.

Good on your wife for taking care of ya.  The Feather isn't so bad, just a bit of patience to get the angle (almost parallel to face) and pressure right (very light).  The old W&B are certainly a nice score (a great score at 12 skins)!  Their wedge grinds are great and have given the razors good longevity.  I prefer a quarter to half hollow grind myself and decent weight to the razor.  I have a custom Portland Razor from their early days with horn scales which is quite pretty.  I also have a pipe with a horn stem which is my favorite every day pipe.  Is the W&B pressed horn?  The pressed horn always seemed a bit fanciful to me as I could only imagine a fine well to do gentleman from back in the day having one.  I keep 2 strops handy - 1 for my razors and the other with a little compound on the reverse for my knives.  This keeps me from cursing myself when I inevitably nic the strop or catch the edge and fillet a piece  🤦‍♂️.  Not sure if it is just me, but if I'm too scruffy then my scruff hair get caught in the helmet strap and it becomes distracting to ride.  Any rate - Good score!

Yeah, I can't stand stubble combined with any part of a helmet. I really don't know about the scales. I'm not familiar with the term pressed horn, so I can't say. The only reason I know anything about the razor is curiosity after finding it sent me to Google. The scales looked organic, yet plastic'y, but according to the internet it dates pre 1890 with horn handles, so that's all I really know. I saw a razor with tortoise scales once. Man, that was a beautiful razor!  The W&B I use is a 5/8 blade and the grind looks like about half wedge with a hollow grind near the edge. Pretty straight profile compared to my Dovo's who hollows are very swoopy and obvious. I much preferred the 5/8 W&B compared to a new 5/8 Dovo, but then i ran across a buddy with a new/unused 6/8 Dovo. Kinda fell in love with that heavy blade, but the W&B still sees action just for the fun of it.  I have a couple I need to restore, but I keep putting it off. Too many pots in the fire as it is.

I've more stickers than space on my tool chest, probably because I don't have a tool chest, yeah I said it..... It's true, unfortunate but true.. I suck.

I have to flick through my albums of harbor freight discount flyers to at least have a whereabouts when I buy the same thing off craigslist.. USED.

Now its the walk of shame for me. Shaking my head, walking away.
