Thanks for a very helpful post, @D.A.    I just got an MT-07 a couple weeks ago and had decided that the vacuum ports needed to have some remote connections like you made.  Luckily I found your post before I did all the work from scratch.  Your links to the Amazon parts saved a bunch of time and I have the port extensions done.
