Aloha all. Glad to join. Not new to bikes or wrenching on the and cars, however, i am new to this Fz-07 type of bike. I have already fixed a number of problems. I acquired this bike after it was laid down into a guard rail. I replaced the forks, then the Tps was out of adjustment, that was a pain but got it figured. Recently had to get a new fuel pump and after that repair, it gave me this sd-46 code. I cant smell fuel out the tailpipe so im guessing its not allowing the injectors to fire off. Its a brand new battery with a new positive lead and the ground wire appears to be near new as well. what i have read seems to say that ive got a grounding issue. But where? I know lots of bike throw in grounding points all over the place. You guys know of any problematic grounds that may be hidden from sight? Or better yet, whats the pin out location of the grounding wire for the injectors? At this point ill make a new ground. Thanks in advance, forums, for mechanics and and people with unusual questions  have been a gold mine of information in my experience. So hit me, what have i missed or what do you think could be going on?

SD-46 is a charging issue.

I thought about this, but don't understand why a charging problem would prevent starting.  The computer shouldn't even care about charging before the engine is running.  I realize I'm missing something, but I'm not familiar enough with the hardware and software to know what this error points to.

One suggestion I have is to put meter leads on the actual battery cable connectors (not battery terminals) and read the voltage when the ignition switch is off, when it's on, and during a start attempt.

So it seems the bike has started and run with all the parts you threw at it.  If it's a charging issue, then check the stator assembly and R/R.  The stator is a common part to fail on bikes.

The engine ground is located at the left side of the bike around the 2 o'clock area above the chain sprocket.

Also check the lean angle sensor under the rider seat, behind the battery.  Probably not the cause tho, only for food measure.

Depending on the severity of the crash, all it takes is a janked wire harness to cause issues.
