Hi! I'm moving on from Twins racing and am offering my "fleet" for sale. Then have been great to me, but it's time for something new. I'd prefer to sell as a package, but I'm open to splitting things up.

Superstock: $6,000
Spares & accesories: $1,900
Total package: $18,900

What a great deal. This would be a great entry point for someone to start club racing. If my bike wasn’t in pieces and half built, I’d buy this so I could run Superstock WERA weekends alongside my SB build.

GLWS!

Hey Jeff and anyone interested in the "superstock" bike, just an FYI, the R6 front end isn't Superstock legal in ASRA or WERA. So, any potential buyer, check the rules of the org you race with.

Hi. In CMRA, and, I thought, most other leagues, for Superstock, you can have different bike parts from the same manufacturer as long as it’s the same spec. I was of the understanding that the R6 fork, and OEM triple, are ok because they have the same specs as the R7 front end, which is also Superstock legal. I ran this build by the Race Director of CMRA, and didn’t have any problems with it. I also had it at post tech, and it was fine.

I’ll have a look at some of the other clubs rule books, but I couldn’t imagine it being a problem. Maybe before the R7 came out, but not now.

Here’s the CMRA rule book. See page 15.

You’re actually allowed to after market forks, as well, in Superstock, as long as the dimensions match.

And you can modify the engine, if someone wanted to do that to this, though I did not.

EDIT: and the Suzuki SV 650s in the class are allowed to run whatever Front end they want - regardless of spec. Which seems to be unique to the CMRA and not other clubs also. So it seems there are some more liberal front end Superstock rules than other clubs.

I thought CMRA and WERA rule books were a copy and paste of each other, and for the most part, they seem to be. But it looks like WERA does NOT have this line about substituting forks with other models, or aftermarket ones, like CMRA does. So I don’t think it’s stock legal there. I don’t race this bike in WERA so never looked to see if it fit. I though WERA and CMRA were supposed to be interchangeable, so I guess that was not the correct assumption

ASRA doesn’t seem to have a super stock classification or anything mentioning super stock in the rulebook, when I search it.  I’d have to look further to see what’s legal there and not. I’ve never raced anything like this bike, or similar there. Only formula / superbike type of bikes.

Thanks. Looks it’s like it’s not WERA legal, after all. I think you’d have to run an R7, proper. Just seems kind of crazy to this to be the case, when you’re up against vastly superior Aprlilia RS660…

But, it looks like I have some interest from a CMRA racer.
