How-to remove Yamaha CP2 & CP3 engine coils easily (MT-07 MT-09, XSR700,++)

It was pointed out recently on another forum that you can actually just "un-screw" the Yamaha coils to get them off (because the spark plug tips are threaded). No more busted fingers or damaged parts?

I'll give it a try on next plug change.
