Throttle Response after 1st service

Hey guys, for those of you who have had your first service done, how many have needed your throttle bodies sync'd? And if so did it have any impact on the sensitivity of the throttle? While I enjoy the bike immensely, the on/off throttle option is getting a little annoying in the corners.

The TB Sync is important, in fact the first one is the most important. Almost all new bikes will have one that is out of sync with the rest. My FZ-09 needed it and one was pretty far off.

But I paid a private motorcycle shop only $60 to do it for me, the dealer wanted $200!!

Dealers are for buying bikes, and that's about it.

I had them check my sync at first service, but all was good. No way to know for sure because it's my first twin and every type of engine has it's own characteristics but I have no complaints as far as on/of response. It seems to run nice.

I'm pretty good around the garage so i'm going to attempt to make my own manometer and do the sync myself, should save people some money as from what i have heard the manual says to do a TB sync every time you change the oil (correct me if i'm wrong). I'll post a how to video if it's a success.

Keep the rubber side down and the shiny side up.

Sync was fine. No issue what so ever. I'm even getting used to the seat ... for short rides. :D

Alright, cool. I'm going to take it down to a shop tomorrow and have them check it out.

I was thinking, when the throttle body is out of sync it would also have an effect op the stalling problems some have, right?

If it's that far out of sync, it's a possibility.

Keep the rubber side down and the shiny side up.
