Washing your bike.. Ugh! Never happen with my bikes. Only on dirt bikes. I use wd-40 or honda polish and rags to clean mine. Why subject your parts and switches to such abuse. Another thing people do without thinking is use K&N air filters. There is a reason org. manufactures don't use them. They know much dirt is passed by these filters.
