harryshaft
The Lake Superior Saddle Sore 1,000 Iron Butt ride with a scheduled start of Saturday June 24, 2017 at 6:30AM. The plan was to ride our motorcycles around Lake Superior counter clockwise arriving back in Sault Ste. Marie, MI in less than 24 hours and 1,049 miles later. They guy I went on the ride with wrote a really nice write up. You can read it at the below link with pics and video. afatrat
This is awsome. Makes me feel pathetic for taking two days to go the 4.5 hours from NC to Charleston, SC. What kind of seat is that? I see the airhawk but that seat looks custom. I've got the comfort seat and that thing is a joke on long rides. Thanks for posting this. harryshaft
It is a Corbin. I am not a small man and the seat was too narrow and I had some issues going on down there. I added a Bead Rider and that took care of the issues for daily riding. I only use the Airhawk when I go on longer rides. (more than 500 miles) On a side note, about three weeks after this trip I crashed and totaled the bike. The seat was undamaged and I will probably look to sell it.
