fastfredyb
I have hit the 78,000 mile mark and the bike is still running strong. Oil+ filter change every 5k. Valve adjustment at 50k. The bike is stock and I commute 120 per day in SoCal. 2015 model Anybody out there have more mileage?
gregjet
WOW!!!!!!!! That there is mileage. I am guessing you are the benchmark for wear items on the bike. Tell us what you have HAD to fix/replace and when if possible. You have just officially become a data resource. Go forth and modify my son...go forth and modify... Bigturbomax
Wow, this is awesome in so many ways. Im excited to see someone hit 100k. Sounds like itll be in no time with that commute. And i agree with gregjet. Your bike may be the benchmark for longevity.
Red_ak_ranger
That’s about $4,500 dollars of gas at 50ish mpg. While my lifted jeep would be $15,500 for the same haha

rick
Wow! That's a lot of saddle time in 2 (?) years. explains why you haven't posted much - too busy riding. The shock was sad when it was new. Hard to imagine it has any hydraulics left after that many miles. There was a guy on the Aprilia forum who put 150k on a Futura in Arizona doing daily long commutes like that. Modern motors are wonderful things.

I actually tried to guess California gas prices without googling so I assumed $3/gal ($.79/liter) but here in Texas it gets as low as $2.20/gal($.58/liter) At the moment gas is pretty expensive (for us) cause of summer
Grip it & Rip it
awesome. a lot of gas stations here in sf are going over the 4 dollar mark, which is insane. how much is your gas faffi? I’m too lazy to do the math
faffi
List price for a litre is just above 2 dollars, or almost 8 dollars for a gallon.
njdevils1990
That's amazing, assuming you've owned it for 3 years that's roughly 71 miles per day every day for 3 years. You've got my average of about 40 miles per day for the last almost 7 months beat a tad. I just got to ~8,180 miles after having the bike since 2 November 2017. 2003 Buell XB9R (2011-2011) Crashed 2009 Buell 1125CR (2011-2013) Sold 2015 Yamaha FZ-07 (2014-?)
