TheRedEagle
So I am getting ready to buy a Toce exhaust for my bike and I know I should get my ECU flashed, well because everyone says I should. Is it worth it to buy a $400+ dollar kit to do it my self and have the tools to do it at home whenever, or spend $250 and just have toce do it for me? elmo
Do yourself kits can be challenge and are not for everyone. Myself, after the cost and time for installing PCV and remapping for different mods and finally getting a reflash. I would just start with 2WDW’s flash as they offer free future reflashing for new mods, excluding shipping.

AlbatrossCafe
Unless you have several bikes that you need a flash on and want to put in a decent amount of extra work, don't bother with the DIY kit. If it is just your FZ, mail it in. topazsparrow
It didn't make sense financially for me to send my ECU to 2WDW from where I live in Canada and then have to wait to get it back - all while hoping I don't get slammed on customs fees and inspection delays there and back. I just bought FTECU with active tune and said "be done with it". Working well so far. I can always take it to a local dyno tuner now if I want as well.
