Grant31781 Posted October 2, 2018 Share Posted October 2, 2018 The engine seems a little noisy. I know the 09 has the cam chain tensioner issue and I think this one uses the same part. Listen to it with ear buds. When I rev it it sounds like maybe the cam chain is slapping. Is this normal noise? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

So I assume this is normal noise? Ive gone back and either merged or deleted many of them over the years. Yes, normal noise, or at least for late model Yamaha's.
