Woodcraft clip on recall

Just received an email from Revzilla, there has been a recall of FZ07 clipons. 

 

Hello,

We wanted to contact you regarding the Woodcraft Clip-On Risers with Adapter Plate that you purchased from us. Woodcraft has informed us of a voluntary recall for the adapter plates contained within kits with part numbers: 12-0407AP, 12-1407, 12-2407, 12-1630, 12-1631, 12-2630,12-2631. The affected adapter plate was used on Yamaha FZ07 and Ducati Monster models.

These plates could crack while in use due to a manufacturing defect. Additional information can be found at the link below.

To initiate your recall, please contact Woodcraft directly by phone at 1-888-442-6996, or by email at info@woodcraft-cfm.com. Woodcraft will coordinate the free return and replacement of the adapter plate with you.

There are two versions of this plate; Generation 1, and Generation 2. Generation 2 parts are most easily recognized by the thicker webs along the top surface. The webs on the Generation 2 parts are .250 thick. If you do NOT have .250 thick webs, then you have a Generation 1 part that must be replaced immediately.

If you think you may have an affected model, please send a photo to info@woodcraft-cfm.com and they will be glad to help you right away. A reference picture is attached to this email to help differentiate the generation of plate you have.
