Mad
In Italy yamaha offers a 3 years warranty but you have to rely on the dealer for the service... For the first time I wasn't there to check and they overtightened ALL the screws braking a piece of the oem plastics ! I notice that after a month and knowing that they will never admit it I had to fix it myself ( I learned the lesson , they will never see me again) This is the last part , shaping. I didn't made photos before that but I just sanded the plastic and use cardboad covered with alluminium tape as a mould Look at that foot isn't perfect but it is working P.s. I used carbon fiber
Premium Member DewMan Posted November 24, 2018 Premium Member Share Posted November 24, 2018 Looks nice! You didn't show the entire process but it looks involved. Did you consider plastic welding the parts if the damage was only cracks? DewMan Just shut up and ride.
Mad
Unfortunately it was really well broken I thought about gluing the pieces but I wasn't sure about strength But maybe plastic welding it is a really good thing for smaller cracks ! Beemer
Why, that's a fine looking flip-flopped foot if I ever seen one, it would blend into any Floridian community, not to worry! P.S. the plastic looks fine, too. Good job! Beemer
