Has anyone retrofitted a D2S 4.0 projector into 2018 MT-07

The D2s projectors main selling point to how you can thread it strait into the stock reflector housing with almost no cutting for an easy install.  This is very appealing because I've gone the route of building a mounting plate to replace the reflector housing and it's a PITA to say the least.  The main worry is that the projector may be too long and hit the front lens of the headlight housing.  It's always a tight fit in most retrofits but I'm wondering if anyone's done it yet on the 2018 with a D2s which is kind of the top dog of drop in projectors.
