Vex
Post what you have done, pics if possible, where you got the goods, and what you still want to add! Price is not mandatory but I'm sure jtll help some of us out in decision making. What I have done: Vagabond frame sliders - Amazon $99 MD fender eliminator kit - Amazon $78 Yoshimura Exhaust R77 and ECU flash by 2wdw - $920 (highly recommend) RG rear axle sliders - Revzilla $50 (give or take) RG radiator gaurd (DID NOT FIT) from revzilla for $80, returned for credit. Extra sets of most black bolts on the bike - $2 a peice because I'm an unorganized lop. Yamaha website through local dealer. What I want: A radiator gaurd that fits, I refuse to bend the metal on my bike. I just wont do it. Must be blank, cool graphic, or MT 07, no FZ stuff. A little black windshield that says MT 07, not FZ 07. (No offence I'm just picky). I'm fine with the wind so this would be purely aesthetic. Saddle bags, preferably ones that I can split lanes with. Black tank rubbers to grab onto w legs Black wrap for forks Mirrors that dont look like bambi Bar end caps Black clutch brake levers, nice ones, no clue what kind yet Renthal street or woodcraft bars Intake (need to do more research) Possible handgaurds for touring in the cold, must be easy to install and remove. That's all I can think of right now, I've done all my mods myself aside from ECU flash. I'm really hoping to find a good radiator gaurd and windshield, as those are next on my priority list. Any posts, info, etc is welcome like always.

robbo10
BTW, Evotech rad guard fits in 5 minutes. Might suit you Vex. And I use rubber walking stick ferrules for my bar ends (proven effective in the drop situation!). My few other mods: axel and engine sliders (Evotech); grip puppies (unnecessary); individual camera mount and seat reformation. Funds for mods are still mostly in the bank. Just do it! The serial numbers changed for 2018, per 2WDW, but not sure if that means the ECU itself is different. I'd shoot them a quick email and ask them, cause if anyone would know it'd be them. Very tastefully done . I'm a fan of what "T-Rex" does well- frame sliders & case savers.... They do that AWSOME . I've been down this road (several bikes) with T-Rex, anytime they get involved with "axle sliders, and spools" they seem to fail. I still have my T-Rex axle sliders on my bike, but don't expect hem to last all of 2019. I've never crashed on them, but they a showing signs of failure from simple tire changes.... If I could do it over, I'd go Woodcraft axle sliders 100% (front & rear). Are you happy with your T-Rex rear spool adapters? I pulled mine almost immediately after install. They seemed too cheap/flexible to risk dropping my bike... Maybe I'm the minority? ""W.O.T. until you see god, then brake"

I haven't had any issues with the spool adapters other than the stickers around the edge of the spools lasting all of one missed attempt at grabbing the spools with a stand lol. They seem pretty sturdy to me otherwise, and no sign of any issues after having the hike on front and rear stands for a month or two. I don't know if they've done any redesigns on them or not. Vex
You guys are rad. This thread may put me in the poor house . So I went ahead and ordered that evotech radiator gaurd it say EU money but I paid cold hard American dollars. No clue what 63EU translates to in dollars but it dont matterx cuz I want it. Okay so after reading all your awesome post I'm thinking TST integrated tail light, CRG levers, and TST signals. I'd rather not splice wires, and would hate for a timing delay to happen with the blinkers, but I can do it need be. I'm wondering what 2018ers put on their windshields. The only one that I like is made for 2017 and below FZ, they dont even fit the newer models. Little sleek black ceramic (much like @FZ07R WaNaB, who has killed it w his setup). As far as wraps go @JayMT07 I'm thinking about doing what you said once I have time to research. That rebel looks clean af. What do you think about carbon fiber wrap for the exhaust? You could get it in a Carbon pattern if you wanted. As for wrapping your exhaust, I've never done it. There are Carbon wraps but I don't think it gives that nice Carbon weave pattern you're looking for. For the integrated tail light, I was worried it wouldn't be visible either so I had my wife follow me on her bike and she said is plenty visible. There are various settings to choose from so I chose a strobe before the brake light goes solid. It really gets the attention of drivers. For the turn signals, I chose them to flash in to out. JayMT07
I didn’t see that link last time I posted a link. Good to know. As for the deals. The deal I got my TST tail light is long gone, Yamaha heated grips is long gone, ECU flash is long gone, etc... Not every thread needs links. If the OP had specified links in his first post, that would be a different story. If he did, I wouldn’t have bothered to post as it would have meant posting 21 links. That’s a bit silly. Beemer
It's too much work for me to list all my mods AND links but I will list this one from a company since they impressed me. A rear red running light recently bit it and I contacted the dealership about it. They didn't ask me to return the broken part or show any proof of what I said, they simply sent me a new part. That accompany is BikeVis and they sent me not just the one light but two since they're sold in pairs so now I have an extra one for later if another goes out. If you're in the market for auxiliary lights this is a good company.
