Stephenms
So I'm coming up on my bikes two-years-of-age and am going to replace the brake fluid, as the owners manual specifies. The only issue I see with this is I have the 2017 with ABS and am not sure about replacing all the fluid within the full system. Is there a specific way of doing this or can I just replace the fluid as a usual brake bleed job? The video by Jakeythegardensnakey is very informative for these bikes specifically, but he does not have the ABS model. I'm pretty sure it's like a traditional fluid change but I'm just making sure. Thanks guys!
208MT07
I'm no mechanic, but I'm sure it's the same process. I wouldnt think itd be any different than doing brakes on a car with ABS.
Premium Member DewMan Posted March 3, 2019 Premium Member Share Posted March 3, 2019 From the research I've done, you should be able to replace all the fluid except what's in the ABS pump since they use a Yamaha shop tool that they won't sell to pump the ABS to flush it also if you take it into the shop. DewMan Just shut up and ride.
