A couple ideas for you.

1. Go up to member map and add your pin on the map so others in your location can find you.

2.Click on other pins in your area and send them a forum PM inviting them to ride. 

3. Go into your profile and add your location in there, as that shows up in your posts. 

Also be sure t visit your notification settings so that you get emailed when someone responds or pm's you back.
