What Grips is everyone using?

I use these since they're cushy, grippy and thicker than stock for less hand cramping. I cut off the inner thick collar for better fit. No glue needed.

I am using the Yamaha heated grips.  I am very happy with them.

I'm still using the stock grips, but am thinking of changing my bars and going to these grips:

I switched to the OEM R6 throttle which comes with the R6 grip glued to the tube. I rode it for about a 1000 miles with both the R6 and FZ tubes on the bike before I switched the FZ tube (clutch side) to the R6 tube as I ultimately liked the R6 tubes better - grippier!

I'm using the domino grips I got from @bellissimoto

They are comfortable as all hell,. But for the life of me, I can't get the glue to keep em stuck

Glue em on a Friday, leave it all weekend and Monday go to ride and halfwy through, the grip will start to slip

Maybe loosen up some too, 5 knuckle shuffle grip, bike will be more responsive to boot.

A lighter grip on the bars/grips lets the bike handle more responsively. It'll steer better, the suspension functions better and you'll be able to control it more accurately with less fatigue on top of the grips not spinning loose. Try it, you'll like it.  Use a light yet secure grip, as if you're twisting in a light bulb or playing with er never mind.

Any recommendations..

I'm running Oxford Heaterz.  Iirc the "adventure" form, but they're all pretty similar.  Comfortable and heated.

Necessary as a Canadian winter rider, but I find I use them quite a bit otherwise.  The warmth is good on long rides where your hands can get sore, and keeps your hands warm if the weather should suddenly turn.  Nice to have warm (though wet) hands when you get caught in a rainstorm.

I use the Grip Puppies. They're thick, soft and comfortable. they aren't cheap compared to other foam grips so why did I buy them? The puppy on the package looked cute and made me feel safe. 😅

I'm still on the stockers, but I've heard some good things about the Domino XM2 and the Spider Peak grips. I was thinking about picking up a set of the Spiders when I eventually switch out for an R6 throttle tube.

Got a set of Protaper pillow tops.  Haven't installed them yet.  Just holding them in the hand - they are certainly grippy.  The R6 throttle tube grip is a bit small for me, so I'm hoping that these will bring the diameter back up to allow for a gentle grip.  I have to wrap my finger down so far on the R6 tube, that I'm so deep into the grip it begins to be fatiguing and "over-gripping" the throttle.

Hey, do these glue on, or just have high friction inner surfaces?  I'd like a pair that I could slip on for longer road trips but remove in the winter when I want more direct contact with my heated grips.

Just high friction inner surface. I used headliner spray on glue for mine. It doesn't bond real strong like some other glues and shouldn't be too hard to take off later.

After my heated grips went out i wanted soft, inexpensive grips for good control. I went with the gray/black pro grip dual density grips. Had em about 2500 miles now. Wear is decent. They are super grippy. I like em a lot. I only wish my tires had as much grip as these lol.

All righty, you sold me on the Grip Puppies @Beemer.  I've ordered a pair and should be getting them soon.  I think it was the cute puppy that pushed it over the top. 😁
