GIVI V35 Bags with non-stock license bracket

As the subject line says...

I've found a pretty good deal on a set of Givi V35 bags + mount for my MT07 here in Germany. Does anyone know if it will work on a bike with a tail tidy. The instructions show an attachment to the stock tail, which makes me a bit unsure.
