scat2me
Is there a special tool to tighten the stock mirrors ? I removed the top cap and there is a 10 mm nut . I can't find a thin wall socket that will fit inside to tighten it. Area in red is loose. Nut is under cap
Wintersdark
https://www.amazon.com/OEMTOOLS-22324-Metric-Deep-Socket/dp/B00AXTK9UO/ as an example; there's tons - search for 10mm thin wall socket. Or just sand down a socket - stick it in a drill, spin to grind it on a file/sandpaper/whatever - this is what I did, mostly because I didn't want to wait the whole two days Amazon was going to take to ship to me. One of the mirrors is reverse thread too.
