Dennis the Swede
I have a 2018 restricted mt07. I have installed acra ti and a high flow airfilter. Has anyone tried to install a boosterplug to a restricted 35 kw?
Global Moderator sorkyah Posted August 25, 2019 Global Moderator Share Posted August 25, 2019 You might be better off doing a proper tune instead of a booster plug On the restricted model, there are also restrictors in the throttle body runners that neck down the diameter about 20mm If you're looking get more power out of it, that's where I would start. One of our resident Aussies has done just that, but for some reason I'm having issues finding his thread on the matter ATGATT... ATTATT, two acronyms I live by. Has anyone tried to install a boosterplug to a restricted 35 kw? What are you trying to achieve? The after market air filter will just screw up your air:fuel ratio. If you fit a stock air filter the ratio won’t be far off (certainly not far enough out to warrant spending on an ecu tune or plug in fuelling device). The Akra ti won’t mess with the fuelling much at all.
