Premium Member fzar Posted March 14, 2020 Premium Member Share Posted March 14, 2020 i picked this up today: 44 in. x 22 In. Double Bank Red Roller Cabinet 44 in. x 22 In. Double Bank Red Roller Cabinet All I can say so far is the price was right, the quality is better than I expected, the drawers are working perfectly. Another concern were the casters and they are solid. I think its a fair price, and I was looking for something along the lines of this. I'm passing the deal along to anyone who may have been thinking about something like this. It's the cheapest I've seen it at for a good while, its exempt from coupons, always. So no 20% off will ever work. Comes with 4 keys that work. Bitch of a thing to unload by yourself, which I did. You'd be surprised what you can do when you get a deal. LOL.

I could have used them, but I was inundated by text messages and alerts about ya know what!! I used a jack to uncrate it as the pallet is wedged the feck up underneath it. As I said unloading it was fun, while the fone was chirping away. I was like do these people not know I can't let go now, FFS!!!

Premium Member fzar Posted March 14, 2020 Author Premium Member Share Posted March 14, 2020 Off topic but it reminded me of something @mossrider had told me about jumping into things. He likes to wade into things: If you don't know the Old Bull, Young Bull story!! I won't tell, but you won't get it if you don't know. I won't spoil it either for race fans, the where, when. Its more pointed towards experience than age..
mossrider
It's a universal constant in my world. If you have a toolbox you'll fill it with tools, you'll be tempted to use tools to fix things, you have 10 appendages that'll complicate said fixing and need same. (even more if you use your leg to buck up a mower deck to drill a hole that snapped the bit and directed the broken nub into the top of your foot) Bandaids.

I'm glad I was under the correct understanding. I have more scars and knuckles busted to the point my kids know my other language which depicts how bad it really is, sometimes its frustration and head scratching, more often its of the more explicit type of language. The stuff that hurts, I can't really decide if its unavoidable, or par-to-the course, but you'd think after 25 years in construction I'd know better sometimes!! Funny thing is its never with a table saw or diamond blade cutter con-saw always a simple (no problem job) kinda like using a claw hammer and you hit the wrong nail when you get a little too confident!!! mossrider
They're nice boxes. Very good quality for a price you can't beat. I think they're also blowing out the one I have to for $180!

It seems to me as the economy has gotten better over time and the job numbers are up they might be trying to let US General brand go, as the see more profit in their new ICON model which kind of bridges the gap between high end and a cheaper versions like the one I bought. I personally don't see a quality difference, it maybe just a rebranding also!! I don't know, but heres a link to the Icon stuff. https://www.harborfreight.com/icon-tool-storage
