R3 Left Hand Switches

Hi all, just picked up a used 2015 for a steal last week with 3900 miles on it.

I snagged a left hand switch pod from a friend with a wrecked R3 to replace the wonky stock pod. I hate the chintzy signal switch and horn position. I saw a thread on here weeks back that I cant find through the search where a few of you guys had done this switch. Can someone help a feller out and link me to that thread if they can find it?

 

I figure i'll be able to figure it out tomorrow  when I have the time to tinker and pull off the old one (just soldering one wire to the open terminal) but having a reference would be nice. 

 

Thanks guys, glad to be a member of the forum, seems like you guys are on your S#$%. Love the bike so far, coming from (and still own) a 17' Bolt that I've babied since it came out of the womb.

Here ya go. By the way its a huge improvement over the stock arrangement.

Read that article all the way through - if I recall, there was a hiccup that was identified midway through about compatibility.

Yeah, the stock location for the horn is criminal.

And you are right, the guys on this forum know their sh!t and then some. Check out the fabrication skills on some of their mods as well as the tuning/perf info.

Don't feel bad. I looked for 20 minutes and couldn't find it either.
