scat2me
I'm about to perform the 2nd coolant change. Its been 2 years and although the mileage on the current engine ice is less then 2500 miles I thought it was a good idea. I ordered a crush washer from amazon part # 90430-06014-00. What I received is clearly the wrong one. My question is does the washer need to be changed ? I always replace the oil drain washer but I don't remember if I changed the coolant washer. ElGonzales
I used the same washer again. It's a copper washer, you can heat it up until it is glowing red for some seconds (annealing). Let it cool down. Then the copper is softer and seals better. I have tried this some times when I didn't had a spare part. But a badly crushed washer has to be replaced.
