gnomanonim
Hey guys, Im waiting for new chain puller part, meanwhile question is can I ride without those parts marked on image. Or in another words, is chain puller holden tightly by central pivot and stuff, and chain puller nuts are not so important? :} (mechanic was changing tire, he forgot to fasten nuts and.... )
scat2me
It seems to me if the designers put all of those nuts there...They had a good reason to.
mossrider
You could get by w/o jamb nut for a short distance but the other is kinna important, holding the rear wheel assembly from cocking in the swinger or changing it's chain tension due to braking and chain pull forces. Just swing by the local hardware store and replace them. And seek a mechanic who puts things back together correctly/carefully, Ride safe.

gnomanonim
Awesome guy was changing tires in my bike. He didn't tighten nuts (25) properly. While driving they got loose and part (23) probably rotated and hit rear sprocket, resulting in chain puller screw to bent. That's my guess.

Thats exactly what happened to two riders @ german MT-07 forum: Kettenspanner liegt nicht an - Yamaha MT-07 - Werkstatt - Yamaha MT07-Forum Hey Leute, gerade hab ich meine Kette zum ersten Mal gespannt, jetzt habe ich die Achsmutter wieder festgezogen aber der rechte... Without registration you see no pics, but the damage looks quite similar. Bike 1 Bike 2 We should better check this nuts and gapless fit of part 23. I think I will add those nuts to 'loctite this' and 'check from time to time' list
