theconsciousness
Hey guys. Just bought an FZ that has bar-end mirrors, and I would like to go back to stock-positioned mirrors. I purchased a kit off of Amazon, but when I went to undo the hex socket bolt cap, I rounded the shet out of it. I think I'm going to have to use an extractor kit to get them out, as they appear to be loctite'd and painted over pretty good. Does anyone have any tips for loosening painted/loctite'd bolts that look like these?

I am not sure which one it is but you may be tightening it if you are trying to get them both out the same way.

Thank you, just found that the right side mirror is reverse-threaded!
