scat2me
Id like to install some higher bars on the Bike. I already have a pro taper riser and a pro taper bar. When I changes it from stock all of the cables and wiring harnesses were just long enough. I want to see if I can increase the height by about 1 inch but I know I will have to get longer throttle and clutch cables as well as longer wiring harnesses. Any suggestion? Global Moderator Pursuvant Posted August 30, 2020 Global Moderator Share Posted August 30, 2020 (edited) These folks make custom cables if they don't already have something, they are high end low resistance cables in stainless steel braided. If no other Yamaha cable will work, this is an option, but takes a little $$. www.magnumshielding.com Edited August 30, 2020 by Pursuvant forgot to drop the hyperlink

scat2me
I am more concerned about the wiring harness.. Cables should be fairly easy to get.
scat2me
No one knows where to get longer harnesses ?
scat2me
Does anyone know what gauge wire is used in the harness? I just watched a video and it seems relatively easy to lengthen them. I just want to make sure I buy the right materials.
