Global Moderator tavisb Posted August 30, 2020 Global Moderator Share Posted August 30, 2020 Happened to be recording when it happened. Any ideas why it just died like that? My only guess is that when I was fiddling with the gps my arm moved the kill switch just enough? Only thing I've done to the bike lately is change the oil and exhaust/ECU tune. Rode it another 20 some miles after this and no problems. Just wondering if something isn't plugged in all the way or something :/. youtube.com/tavisbogue
mossrider
Money says your gauntlet/cuff/zipper pull or something bumped your kill switch. Ride it.
seven
Looking and listening to the video several times it really looks like you accidentally push the kill switch up and when you go to start you hear the click of setting it to the on position. It does look like the button is further up when the engine is off. If it happens again, just double check the position.
theconsciousness
For sure hitting that kill switch. Looks like that thing is pretty touchy on yours. Before / After you reach for your GPS.
