M. Hausknecht
Some of you "more experienced" riders may recall a cheap and easy way to create floating brake discs on late '80s early '90s Yamaha FZR 400/600s (and perhaps others); usingĀ appropriate sized sockets and a hammer to whack the disc rivets and create some dish in the rivets. I and many others did it, it worked, and I don't recall anyone having any related brake failure. Has anyone explored whether this is possible with the 07? EBC makes some excellent light-weight floating rotors but they ain't cheap and I'd need three sets.....

shinyribs
Stock rotors up front are already floating. What are we aiming for here?
