Hey fellas, I was curious on how difficult it would be to ADD ABS on a FZ07 and what the cost might be?

It would be fiddly, time consuming and quite expensive once you have all the components. You might even need the ABS bike’s ECU?

It would be easier (and cheaper) to sell the non-ABS bike and buy the other one if you really want it that much.

It looks like the ABS pump is about $650, the front sensor is $116, the rear sensor is $145 the sensor rings are around $75 each and if you need an ECU that is just over $400.  You would also need miscellaneous hardware and I think some different brake lines.  Then you have to put it all together and hope you can make it work.  I definitely would not recommend modifying a system as important as brakes unless you were very confident you know what you are doing.  As @stickshift says, selling your bike and buying an ABS one would be safer, cheaper and easier.

God damnnnn those numbers removed any remaining thought of it being a possibility that would be worth while haha. Thank you.
