norton73
Picked up a 2015 FZ-07 last night for my wife to ride. She already has a '75 Norton 850, '83 BMW R80ST, and a XT225. She started making noises about wanting a more modern bike, and as I own a T-7, I recommended something with the same motor. This thing looks like it's had a good chunk of the Rizoma catalog thrown at it, along with a Penske shock and a Akrapovic Exhaust. I'll be the one working on it, so will be the one asking questions and researching mods.
Triple Jim
Welcome to the board norton73! I bet she loves it. Has she ridden it yet? My daughter, who isn't very tall, fits my MT-07 nicely and loves to ride it. The fit isn't really much different from the 2005 Ninja 250 she's used to. Ridden it twice now, once Sunday for a test ride, then home last night for an hour home. She's 5'6", so height on a street bike isn't generally an issue. Suspension is going to need work as the PO was 200 or so, she's somewhat lighter. Just a quick check of sag shows the rear doesn't even budge when she gets on it. norton73
Her other parallel twin; BTW, there's a Yamaha TDM850 belonging to a friend behind her. Edited March 23, 2021 by norton73
Triple Jim
That Norton is cool, but I'll be pretty surprised if she isn't crazy about the Yamaha's weight, handling, and power.
