JacksLyfe
New MT07 owner here. I was surprised to find no helmet hooks on the 2018 mt07. Anyone figured out a solution to ride with spare helmet? Ideally, someway to lock the helmet by the strap to the seat when parked as well. It's a cheap helmet that I don't really care about, so not worried about theft. klx678
Bungee net on the passenger seat to carry a spare. As for locking, get a serious bicycle cable lock with a good lock for it, then thread it through the face bar and the wheel, sitting on the ground, and lock it up. I also will stick the cable through the sleeve of my jacket if I don't want to wear it.

For locking your helmet to the bike when parked, the helmet holding cable on the underside of the passenger seat is a little clumsy to use but otherwise works pretty well. And for carrying a 2nd helmet for a passenger, it’s fairly easy to rig a solution using the bike’s built-in luggage straps and a small elastic cargo net from Amazon as @klx678 suggested. When not in use, the cargo net easily stows away in the tool pouch box under the rear seat. https://www.amazon.com/JCHL-Motorcycle-Cargo-Stretches-Motorbike/dp/B07TC1D8WY/ref=sr_1_2_sspa?crid=91BHL3CGJB8O&dchild=1&keywords=elastic+cargo+net+motorcycle&qid=1620786101&sprefix=Elastic+cargo+net+moto%2Cindustrial%2C153&sr=8-2-spons&psc=1&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUExOFdZODM4QU5GN1gwJmVuY3J5cHRlZElkPUEwMDI1MTc5MlA2Q1kxREVRMVA2JmVuY3J5cHRlZEFkSWQ9QTA4Mjk5ODlFRVZWRENUWFhSUFcmd2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9hdGYmYWN0aW9uPWNsaWNrUmVkaXJlY3QmZG9Ob3RMb2dDbGljaz10cnVl Edited May 12, 2021 by D.A.

Used a combination lock. Lots of uses.
