JeffL Posted June 9, 2021 Share Posted June 9, 2021 Howdy, Thought I'd share my experience with my new windshield extender ($26 at Amazon). I installed it on a $35 windshield I also bought at Amazon. The assembly instructions were not very clear, but was able to figure it out. It does a pretty good job helping block the wind, now it hits about nose level of my helmet. More effective at 40-50 mph, still helps at 70 mph. My only concern is how long it will last (both windshield and extender). At higher speeds it "wiggles" just a bit. Triple Jim Posted June 9, 2021 Share Posted June 9, 2021 My experience with windshields is that they have to either direct the air over my helmet or be mostly decorative and direct the air down around my chest.
