My guess would be different fork lowers, same calipers.

The parts diagram is not particularly helpful, as the parts for each model iteration starts with a different prefix.

Get out the measuring tape!

I believe the fork’s lower must be changed but larger disks are heavier, so .. no problem until you MUST use larger disks and in that case I will go with radial adapters or with the r1 disk conversion kit

Oh..are you referring the 320mm disc conversion kit from Extreme Creations? Yeah that one not bad except the bracket are little bit expensive 😕

I would leave the disk size alone, the added mass it’s a big no ( if not needed).

there are a lot of choices to improve braking performance and are cheaper too

XSR700Scrambler

Magura HC-1 radial master = $240

HUGE improvement for the $$$

I added braided lines as well $150

$390 later the brake feel is absolutely transformed.

Is it a direct swap out, ie. HC-1 for OEM, or are there other 'bits' required, like a brake light switch? Thanks. ;)

Magura HC-1 radial master has a brake light switch that you connect to your existing wiring.

It's a small-generic connector, you have to splice-adapt to your bikes plug.
