M. Hausknecht
I have two motors in pieces right now waiting to be reassembled but CP2 head bolts are on back order. The 07 manual calls for new head bolts, and specifies a sequence of tightening torques and then a final torque to angle. I'm assuming the head bolts are torque to yield (the manual doesn't indicate specifically but it also doesn't provide an overall length maximum), so I shouldn't reuse them. Can anyone confirm one way or the other? Thanks much.
mossrider
They are torque to yield. Some folks reuse them, however they have mixed results (catastrophic). I never reused them and I never had a problem. Boom.
