I'm putting it back to "street legal", and track prepping my 2019 R3 instead. I want to add an LED headlight bulb into the stock headlight case. I see most of them have a small cooling fan behind the bulb assembly. Has anyone had fitment issues with this kind of LED bulb? Triple Jim Posted July 25, 2021 Share Posted July 25, 2021 (edited) I have not had a problem with the fit of an LED bulb with a fan, but I've had problems with reliability of them. That's not to say I think they'll always fit where a quartz-halogen bulb was though. I have not yet tried one in an MT headlight shell. The first one I bought was a Cyclops, and it quit working a few days past the warranty. They advertised a 30,000 hour life, but it quit at about 100 hours of use.
