XpavR79
Hi guys, when I was changing exhaust I saw that my exhaust valves looks odd. What do you think? Is it okey or should I be worried ? My first thought was I'm runnin too much lean mixture.
M. Hausknecht
Not unusual, in my experience. I'd check the plugs; they're better indicator of whether the mixture is off. What mods have been done to the motor and have you done anything to alter the stock ECU's mixture?
XpavR79
I changed exhaust, but will get tune when it will be possible due weather. From what I found on internet, this should be only indicating higher temperature of valves 'cause of factory lean mixture and probably is pretty common. I will check spark plugs anyway. Thank you
shinyribs
Pretty typical on modern fuel injected engines. I wouldn't let it worry you. It more related to the additives in whatever type of fuel you run than a lean/rich fuel mixture. It's basically just fuel residue.
