I had to do something about these lousy stock mudguards.  So I got flea-bay fender extenders for the front and rear.  

I used JB Weld to bond the extenders.  And added aluminum rivets for reinforcements.

The rear fender needed another layer of protection.  I used a rubber mat to cover the existing holes.  I got the mat from home Depot.  It measures 1/16 inch thick.  I then cut it to a size of 7 inch x 7.5 inch.  Next, bolts and nylock nuts were used to fasten the rubber mud flap.

Save them as .jpg files, they shrink to about 7K, you can upload all your cool stuff.

"Renaissance Festival"?  That sound's like a ball!

Well, the rear fender is a kinda tall.  I got about 4 inches of clearance with the sub-frame.  Should be OK.

Finally, rigged a piece of clear acrylic to the licence plate.  Enough to cover the blast radius.
