Dash protector

union

Recommended Posts

So I'm home sick today and of course looking for items for the MT that I don't really think I need but would be nice to have.  In my quick search I didn't find anything concrete about what would be good or bad.

I'm looking for a dash/screen protector.  Reviews seem to be all over from they are great to they are terrible.  I do have some of the 3M film from previous projects which I believe would work.  I don't think I would be able to cut it nice enough as a pre cut piece would come.  Not really one of my strengths.

Does anyone have some real world experience with some of the pre made stuff?

I purchased one from speedo-angles.com

It is very nice quality and fit perfectly. It is like a cell phone screen protector. Came with cleaning and applicator supplies.

I would recommend them.

Just in case union does a cut-and-paste, that's Speedo Angels.   :)

I got a couple from them myself and the first one has been on for a couple years now with no visible degradation.  There are other suppliers I've seen at places like eBay that seem to have the same ones at a lower price.  I'll probably try one of them if I ever need any more.  I have no complaints about Speedo Angels though, and shipping from England didn't take long.

Another vote for the Speedo Angels protector.  Easy installation and it has held up well for the past two years on my MT.

My only regret is not putting a protector on sooner. Now I have this stupid scratch under the protector that I can't stop staring at haha. At least the LCD flip makes it slightly less visible.

For those that went with the Speedo angels, did y’all go with the Nano glass or regular? They’re the same price but they seem to think the Nano is even more scratch resistant. Is there even a difference besides ones plastic?
If you have the plastic one, does it do ok for the micro scratches from gloves?
