Warranty just expired on my 2017 FZ07…so of coarse something goes wrong.

Riding my bike this morning and the check engine, oil light and SD 46 displayed in my dash, then I lost full power to the bike.

while diagnosing, I noticed the battery post was loose.. the solder keeping the post on the battery broke and I could move it and get power back. Replaced the battery and the codes/lights aren’t going away.

sd46 is a voltage irregularity to the fuel injectors, so I’m looking at the stator/regulator. But the oil light is stumping me..

I wonder if the intermittent arcing connection confused the ECU.  It seems unlikely that an actual engine problem would happen at the same time you got a loose battery connection.

Welcome to the board, Brandocazone.

the stator/regulators are fairly bombproof on this bike.

Having a known bad connection at the battery, I would not go digging around beyond that.
May need to clear the codes if they don't go away.
